On Saturday April 11th Izzy went back to CANTER to get the medical care and training that she needs. It was the single most tough decision that I have had to make with a horse since Flash died. It killed me to give her back. But I had to do what was best for both of us. I am still a fan of off the track horses. They are so willing to learn and eager to please. I learned a lot from her in the 8 weeks that she was with me. And I hoped she learned alot too. I cant wait to get an update on how she is doing. She will always have a place in my heart.
I did get a new horse. Another chestnut mare- this is my third you can kick my butt now. Her name is Phancy Pants and she is a registered Quarter Horse. She is more "finished" as far as riding goes so I am hoping things go smoothly. Feel free to check out her blog.
Take care Izzy, I miss you!
